I was pleasantly surprised at how these Ruby Kisses Essential Brush & Sponge Set turned out! I honestly thought I was getting a mini set! The only thing this set is missing is a bronzer/blush brush/contour. But you could make it work if these were your only brushes! The Kabuki brush is good at blending. I love these brushes! Super soft they are not brittle. The sponge is squishy and sturdy at the same time. I like that the sponge has a cut curve on one side to make makeup easily applicable in certain areas of my face. The flat kabuki brush, Large powder brush, tapered shadow brush,curve shadow brush,small shadow brush and concealer brush are super soft when blending they don't feel harsh or like poking I've had brushes that do feel like they poke when you brush on your makeup and these ones are actually gentle so the quality is a 9/10.
