I tend to go for red lip products, but somehow I didn't have any red lip liners, so I knew I needed to try this Kiss New York Professional Silky Smooth Lip Pencil Liner in the shade Hot Red. I enjoyed using these lip liners. They are affordable. I love that the pencil is a true wooden pencil. It makes sharpening the pencil so much easier. The pencil has good color payoff and goes on your lips really well. I like that the pencils dries down to a smudge proof matte you can wear alone or top with a gloss/oil. The lip pencil last all day and doesn’t budge. The only time I had the pencil not stay on is when I used an lip gloss/oil as a topper (which is expected because it changed the formula). 4 out of 5 stars.

I really like this lip liner! I got this in the shade mauve and it sits beautifully on my lips and gives it a very nice amount of dimension. I will say that it is very nice that it is a wooden pencil, but it does have a bit of a waxy consistency to it. To combat this, I will dip it in water or lick it to get the pigment to really show. It is very long lasting and other than that one complaint, I will be using this every day as my go to for my lip combo! I like to pair it with a gloss from an ivy beauty and it gives the most beautiful finish.

I’m in love with how these glide on so well and they have a smooth matte finish look. I really went from subtle to bold lips after using. This is a great pencil lip liner. It’s also very soft enough for me to use on my upper lead when I want a slight smoked eye look. it applies easily to my lips. It is soft and it’s easy to blend out. Goes well with my kiss, plumping lip gloss, and I don’t mind that I have to use a sharpener to get to the tip.
